This is why - - Due to the chemical alteration of the liquid soy oil to make it a solid, a wax, it is no longer organic and one cannot claim to have “organic soy wax” and cannot claim to have "organic soy candles". 100% Pure Natural Soy Wax cannot be called organic and soy candles cannot be called or labeled as an "Organic Soy Candle".
However, they can legitimately be called "Soy Candles with Organic Ingredients" when they contain organic ingredients such as 100% Organic Essential Oils. Candles with Organic Ingredients do exist, Organic Candles do not exist.
Even soy wax made from Organic Soybeans and other organic ingredients is not organic.
Again, this is due to the process required to turn it into a solid.
Our purpose is to protect the integrity of organics and to educate consumers that organic soy candles and organic candles do not exist, despite the growing number of web sites claiming to sell them, and label them as such.

Companies need to be encouraged to reassess their advertising and stop marketing their candles as "Organic Soy Candles", to stop misleading consumers and to encourage soy candle makers towards using appropriate terms like; Natural Soy Candles, Pure Soy Candles, and Non-Genetically Modified Soy Candles when their soy wax is made with non-genetically modified soybeans. Companies that falsely label and advertise Organic products are damaging the integrity of true organics. An advertising gimmick to trick consumers into believing they are purchasing an actual organic product.
With the growing interest and demand for Organic candles and other organic products, laws need to change. More than ever the public needs to be made

False labeling of organic products not only damages the organic industry, but our faith in organic labeling. Labeling non-organic products as Organic makes it impossible for consumers to trust what truly is organic. The issue of false advertising of organic products has already been in the spot light. SOY WAX
You can start with organic soybeans to make organic soy oil, as an ingredient for soy wax, but due to the "process necessary" to turn the organic soy oil into soy wax [a solid form] it is no longer organic, and cannot be "certified" as Organic. Candles cannot be certified organic.
